Peggy Bruce

Peggy Bruce is entering her sixth year of teaching for GHC. Teaching Latin, literature, IEW, Omnibus, and study skills, she brings a passion for learning and a love for Christ to the classroom setting. Peggy graduated with a master’s degree from FAU. She spent twenty-five years continuing that education from a biblical classical perspective as she and her husband Mike faithfully homeschooled their four children through high school; all of them graduating with their two year degree from IRSC through the dual-enrollment process. The aim of their homeschooling approach was to glorify God by producing intellectual and moral clarity, integrity, purity and discernment. All four children, Joshua, Daniel, Elisabeth and Rebekah, have pursued higher education to the graduate level – law, computer programming, forensic accounting, and literature. Much more importantly, God has graciously brought each of their children to Himself and has placed them in their callings as salt and light to an extremely needy world. Mike and Peggy are members of GIBC and actively serve in the church. In her free time, Peggy enjoys spending time with her family, studying the Bible, reading, being an avid Gator fan, and taking care of her family’s birds, cats and dogs.

Josh Bruce

Josh was born and raised in South Florida and was homeschooled through high school, following which he attended college at a large state university which shall remain nameless but which has a proud tradition of academic and athletic excellence (Go Gators!).  After receiving a degree in Economics, Josh then earned a law degree from Stetson University College of Law (Go Hatters?). While attending law school Josh made the best decision of his life when he asked his childhood sweetheart, Lindsay, to marry him.  In a momentary lapse of judgment, she said yes. Josh and Lindsay have been blessed with two wonderful little boys named Andrew and Jack who both love to sit and look adoringly into Josh’s face while he reads them stories from Homer’s Iliad and regales them with tales from The Epic of Gilgamesh.  Also, they sometimes like to play lion and tear up Josh’s books to build their forts.  After completing his law degree, Josh practiced law as an attorney for five years and also received a degree in theology when he realized that practicing law was taking too much time that he wanted to spend reading books about dead people.  Josh now studies church history and loves strong coffee, old books, and good conversations with students who are also excited to think God’s thoughts after Him.

Daniel Bruce

Daniel was born and raised in South Florida. She graduated top of her class, passed her state board exam, and currently owns her own business practicing Massage Therapy. She has been under the teaching of Peggy and Rebekah Bruce since the age of 6, and hopes to carry on the lessons they have taught her. Maddie has a unique passion for Writing and Literature. Her mission is to help children grow a love for learning new things, even when it doesn’t come easy at first. Having 5 others siblings at home, Maddie knows the value of patience, and will work with every student to the best of her ability. One of her favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 16:16, “How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver!”

Robin Campbell

Robin Campbell has been a South Florida resident since 1974. Graduating from John I. Leonard high school in 1979, she immediately went to college. With a thankful heart for the privilege of serving in the capacity God has allowed her, she welcomes each new student/teaching opportunity as a gift from Our Lord.

Julie Glowacki

Julie Glowacki was born in La Porte, Indiana. When she was 3 years old her family moved to Jupiter, FL. From the time she was able to use a pencil, she was drawing and creating. She will never forget the time when she was 6 years old and her dad brought home new art supplies for her to experiment with. That was the start of the lifelong love of any and every art medium. She is a strong believer in encouraging art as a creative outlet when a child is young. Julie pursued art throughout school and took AP art and pottery in high school. She then went on to study Interior Design at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. While in college she was a nanny and also an overseer for a children’s nursery at a gym. She loved working with kids and could not wait to start a family of her own. When her oldest was 3, she began feeling the Lord calling them to school at home to provide a biblical world view and foster their relationship with God. For the past 3 years Julie has co-led a local home school coop and for the past 5, taught art there. She is extremely thankful for the opportunity to home school and to have programs like GHC to support and inspire our children to grow in their walk with the Lord with like minded believers.

Hayley Morris

Hayley Morris was born and raised in Durban, South Africa. She has been drawing, painting and creating her whole life. After she finished high school, Hayley did a year of fine arts studies through the University of South Africa. Realizing early into her studies that the art world was going in a direction that didn’t always honor the Lord, she soon changed her career path to something else that is very dear to her heart – children. Hayley painted murals on the walls of children’s bedrooms as a part time business, she also painted large murals for church nurserys and classrooms. She worked in preschool’s for a total of four years in South Africa. After Hayley and her husband immigrated to the United States in February 2008, Hayley worked as a nanny ministering to many families in the area.
